Amy at Lulu & Lattes wanted to keep it simple, and I love that. So we did strong colors and fonts with clean lines and bold features.

Maria’s website is so striking thanks to a high-contrast color palette. Her logo as well as some text in her headers and sidebars were custom lettered using a graphics tablet which I love to work with. I think my favorite part of her site though, is the scrolling testimonials in the red bar half-way down her homepage. Check it out…
Amanda already had a beautiful blog, greatly thanks to the superb quality of her photographs. She came to me looking to spruce it up a bit, and I think we came out with some very striking results! Visit her blog at FashionableHostess.com.
I like to write code. A website is very much like a puzzle, and all the pieces have to fit together just so. The stakes are reasonably high, I mean no one’s gonna die (disclaimer: I don’t know that for certain) but one missing back-slash and your site goes totally blank. Erase the wrong thing and you can be looking…
Here’s another beautiful design by Sullivan and 3rd! Erin, the designer, is always pushing my development skills to the limit with her concepts. Can you believe she did ALL that text by hand? It took me forever just to get the header and other hand drawn details on
I finally took the plunge and bought a graphics tablet, which has enabled me to start doing fun stuff like the custom text on this website! Whole Foodie Booty is a new project by Shannon Brennan Cressey, and it’s been a lot of fun to work on. Not only did I get to create a hand-drawn logo, but I also…
So I was checking out the website of my favorite neighborhood restaurant and bar, Amsterdam Tavern, and noticed that they had Lorem Ipsum (dummy text) on their LIVE website still. Being ever helpful, I offered to do a few touch-ups to the site for free in exchange for a discount. I ended up doing a full rebuild, and getting a…
So I’ve just ostensibly returned from vacation. Or rather, I’m on my way back (I’m literally on a train using the “wifi” that “works”). Since I’ve got this fancy work-from-home job, I took my work with me. I just checked my hours for the last two weeks, and they were surprisingly high. I’m pleasantly surprised and also a little distressed….
I know one person who’s relieved this new site layout is launched: my boyfriend. The poor guy has been dealing with this all month: Him: “Wanna do something fun?” Me: “No. Website.” After which I would proceed to work until 4 am and then not get enough sleep and be grouchy and mean. But now that it’s launched, I have…
Funny story: my little brother didn’t ask for a blog, but now he has one because I built this and foisted it upon him. If you head to Dangerfones, he may not even have written on it. His Twitter handle is “Dangerfones” though, and it always made me think of this phone ringing graphic, so I made it: And then…
